Island Campground, Northern Cascade Range, Washington   Island Campground is a magnificent camp ground to use as a base while enjoying the Northern Cascade Range. Island Campground is a top selection campground with the folks of Glenwood. All the outdoors cool stuff in the Northern Cascade Range will keep you coming back time and again. Going for a hike along the Little Baldy Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area; get your heart beating on the fine whitewater of Trout Lake Creek. Have a delightful hiking adventure along the Little White Salmon Trail, and a visit to Koberg Beach State Park     revitalizes the soul. What a spot this is for outdoors people. Island Campground is right by the Highline Trail, and Memaloose State Park is a pleasant spot. Island Campground is a place with many visitors from Glenwood, and Klickitat River is a delightful whitewater spot nearby. At Island Campground during the days of summer highs are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 20's for Island Campground. As long as you have a thing about the outdoors you will have a thing about Washington. A campground like this is too wonderful to miss. The Round The Mountain Trail offers hiking at its best, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; White Pass is reasonably near. All the water falling down from the sky makes Island Campground   a wet site; most of the snow falls during December while July is usually the driest month. Hey, you've been cooped up for too much time, time has come to get out, and Island Campground in Washington is a really great place to spend some time. This is a wonderful campground. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Northern Cascade Range. Take a hike on the Divide Camp Trail, and a nice place for whitewater paddling is White Salmon River. So many local attractions and such a great deal of things to do are great reasons to come. Some activities here at Island Campground are hiking, and whitewater paddling, so probably you want to stay a while.
