Indian Hole Campground, Northern Cascade Range, Washington

| | Indian Hole Campground no longer exists. It was apparently named for the abundance of native artifacts found in the area by early settlers. The camp was owned and maintained by St Regis Paper Co. In later years it fell into disrepair and finally closed in the 1980s. Says Old Local

| Indian Hole Campground is not the only place nearby, Duck Lake is a nearby lake. This camp ground is one of the nice places to camp here in the Northern Cascade Range. This is such a fun place for a campground. Indian Hole Campground is a relatively wet place usually with lots of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is December, and July is when it's the driest. always a joy. Hiking along the Fawn Lake Trail is glorious fun; Indian Hole Campground is not far at all from Morton. All through the summertime months at Indian Hole Campground temperatures are usually in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. Highs through
the winter are generally in the 40's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Indian Hole Campground temperatures plunge to the 30's. You simply should love Indian Hole Campground. Tilton River - North Fork has a good whitewater paddling spot nearby; if you haven’t been
to Mount Rainier National Park, you have to schedule some time for it since you're here. All the perfect local attractions in the neighborhood and all the outdoors recreation will make you glad you came. There's no way to run out of fun things to do close to Indian Hole Campground;
campgrounds like these are tremendous. Indian Hole Campground is a very well liked campground by the people of Morton. There's so much stuff to do at Indian Hole Campground including hiking, swimming, whitewater paddling, and fishing, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen.
