Indian Hole Campground, Northern Cascade Range, Washington

  Indian Hole Campground no longer exists. It was apparently named for the abundance of native artifacts found in the area by early settlers. The camp was owned and maintained by St Regis Paper Co. In later years it fell into disrepair and finally closed in the 1980s. Says Old Local

You shouldn't be in a building every day; you have to get out of the house now and then; Indian Hole Campground is a splendid local campground if you happen to be in Washington. This campground is so magnificent. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if
    it's for you then we recommend Little Nisqually River; Indian Hole Campground is not far at all from Morton. A number of people pick Indian Hole Campground when they come to stop by Ike Kinswa State Park.

Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this location. If time allows, Mount Rainier National Park is a national park worth checking out; you can have a magnificent hiking adventure along the Fawn Lake Trail. The great choice of local attractions, and the great variety of outdoors recreation are wonderful causes to come. There's such a vast number of things to do at Indian Hole Campground including fishing, whitewater paddling, swimming, and hiking, so running out of enjoyable things to do won’t happen.
Be careful coming to the Northern
 
Cascade Range, you might not ever wanna go home again. You absolutely must check out Ike Kinswa State Park if you're here at Indian Hole Campground, and if the weather is fine, you can go for a hike along the Toutle River Trail. The summit of Bergen Mountain can be distinguished from Indian Hole Campground, and if you come at the right time of year, Tilton River offers some good whitewater.
There are some perfect whitewater spots on Tilton River - North Fork, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Coldwater Trail. Indian Hole Campground is a top selection campground with people in Morton.
This campground has so many fun things to offer. Yeah, come up here to the Northern Cascade Range for a good time. Getting to North Fork Tilton River from Indian Hole Campground is painless, and a striking lake like Duck Lake is a splendid place to stop at. There is so much cool stuff to do close to Indian Hole Campground; to be here is splendid fun any time.
Through the summer months highs here at Indian Hole Campground get into the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 40's, and overnight lows at Indian Hole Campground throughout the wintertime regularly sink into the 30's. Indian Hole Campground gets a great deal of water; most of the rain falls during December, and the driest month is July.
