Indian Hole Campground, Northern Cascade Range, Washington Custom Search   Indian Hole Campground no longer exists. It was apparently named for the abundance of native artifacts found in the area by early settlers. The camp was owned and maintained by St Regis Paper Co. In later years it fell into disrepair and finally closed in the 1980s. Says Old Local Indian Hole Campground is positioned in an area with loads of fun things to do, and it is a glorious escape from the city. All year is a good time in the Northern Cascade Range if you like the outdoors. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for     you then we recommend Little Nisqually River, and on a perfect day you can take a hike along the Toutle River Trail. Coming to this campground is always a good idea. On a pretty day you acquire a sight of Bergen Mountain from Indian Hole Campground, and going for a hike along the Fawn Lake Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. Some of the things you can do here at Indian Hole Campground are fishing, swimming, hiking, and whitewater paddling, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. Indian Hole Campground is a very popular campground among the folks in Morton. All the great local attractions in the neighborhood and all the outdoors recreation are delightful causes to come. Indian Hole Campground is a rather wet place ordinarily with lots of rain; December is the month that gets the most rain, and July on the other hand is the driest. Glide down the rapids of Tilton River in a kayak, and while you're here you will meet lots of people from nearby Morton.
