A glorious spot like Iron Horse State Park in close proximity to Hour Creek Campground is too good to leave out; nearby you stumble on the Jolly Mountain Lookout Trail which is a nice hiking trail. This segment of Washington is always a bliss   to explore through camping season. Going for a hike on the Escondido Trail is always a great adventure, and why not visit nearby Hour Creek while you're here at Hour Creek Campground. The wonderful variety of local attractions and all the outdoors recreation will make you pleased you came. All through the warm days of summer at Hour Creek Campground temperatures are commonly in the 60's, and the night is slightly chillier of course, commonly in the 40's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Hour Creek Campground temperatures descend to the 10's. Hour Creek Campground is a fine camp ground to use as a base while enjoying the Northern Cascade Range. A campground like this is too great to miss.
