Near Honeymoon Campground you hit upon the Driveway Butte Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail. Honeymoon Campground is not the only location close by, Copper Glance Lake is a close by lake; if the weather is nice, you can go for a hike along the Monument Creek Trail. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Loup Loup Ski Bowl if you're here, and going for a hike on the Boundary Trail is always a delightful adventure. The wonderful local attractions and such a large number of things to do are great causes to come. At Honeymoon Campground you don’t see much rain; through December this area sees the most snow, and the driest month of the year is July.
