If you're visiting Hoh Ox Bow Campground from Port Angeles, you won't be the only one; you can go for a hike on the Rugged Ridge Trail. Hoh Ox Bow Campground is close to Pacific Beach State Park which is a wonderful place, and a great spot for whitewater paddling is Christmas Creek.
You can run the rapids of Bogachiel River near Hoh Ox Bow Campground; brilliant hiking is available along
 
the Bogachiel-Hoh Trail. The high level of precipitation makes Hoh Ox Bow Campground a quite wet place; the wettest month of the year is generally December, that's the one that rains the most; August meanwhile is the driest month.
As if Hoh Ox Bow Campground wasn't enough, you can also go hiking, and whitewater paddling, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. A lot of people stay here to take a look at nearby Bogachiel State Park. And if that's not sufficient there's loads more cool things to do in the Olympic Mountains. Bogachiel State Park is both good and pretty, and it's near Hoh Ox Bow Campground, and Calawah River - South Fork is a brilliant whitewater spot nearby.
This is truly a fine campground. There are brilliant places to discover along the Pass Trail, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Hell Roaring Creek.
