Heart of the Hills Campground, Olympic Mountains, Washington   Heart of the Hills Campground is a magnificent camp ground to use as a base while enjoying the Olympic Mountains. So many cool things in the Olympic Mountains, just astonishing. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Elwha River; going for a hike on the Little River Trail is always a great adventure. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun things in the Olympic Mountains. Don't leave Heart of the Hills Campground without first going for a hike along the Hurricane Hill Trail, and when you're here it's always fun     to go to Lake Cushman State Park. For the period of the summertime at Heart of the Hills Campground temperatures are usually in the 70's. Through the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are mostly in the 40's with temperatures at Heart of the Hills Campground dipping down into the 30's during winter nights. If you come to this campground, you will have a perfect time for sure. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Hurricane Ridge Ski Lodge while you're here, and there is a fine hiking trail close by called the Lake Creek Trail. You definitely must fancy Heart of the Hills Campground. Good hiking is available along the Long   Ridge Trail. A lake nearby is Lake Angeles, and if you're looking for a good spree, Olympic National Park is pretty near. As if Heart of the Hills Campground wasn't enough, you can also go whitewater paddling, hiking, swimming, and fishing, so probably you want to stick around. This segment of Washington has a great deal of outdoors activities offered. This campground has so incredibly much. Sequim Bay State Park is both brilliant and lovely, and it's next to Heart of the Hills Campground, and there are some magnificent whitewater spots on Elwha River. So many local attractions and such a fine variety of outdoors recreation will make you pleased you came. There's some exciting stuff to spot at Lake Dawn Dam near Heart of the Hills Campground, and the wonderful folks of Port Angeles like to hang out close by. Scores of people camp here so they can go to Olympic National Park. Yep, outdoors exciting things to do are truly bountiful here at Heart of the Hills Campground. Halfway Rock is uncomplicated to spot from Heart of the Hills Campground; there are glorious places to explore along the Lillian River Trail. The The Foothills is one of the things that make Heart of the Hills Campground so great, and there's whitewater on Elwha River for all you adrenaline rush seekers. Heart of the Hills Campground is an old favorite with campers from Port Angeles. There's no way to run out of fun things to do in the neighborhood of Heart of the Hills Campground; campgrounds like these are great.
