Tieton River has a nearby whitewater section; the Rimrock Reservoir to Windy Point Campground sector is a splendid 11.5-mile-from-beginning-to-end class   III+ section of whitewater. If you don’t want to risk getting wet this section of Tieton River is most likely not for you. You have to check restrictions before heading out; whitewater paddling may get hazardous. Grey Rock Trail around here has a difference between top and bottom of 803 feet.
