  kayaking or rafting is amusing but risky; check the latest conditions previous to going. Mt.Baker is a delightful local ski area; a journey to Lake Chelan National Recreation Area is recommended. So much enjoyable stuff to do in the Northern Cascade Range, not enough time. Mount Sefrit can be made out from Hannegan Campground, and let's not forget Donegan Creek which is a stream that you may run into while here.
