There's more to do close to Group Campground other than just hanging out such as fishing, hiking, swimming, and whitewater paddling, so you
 won’t run out of things to do.

Quite a lot of cool things to do near Group Campground, and campgrounds like these are glorious. Washington has such a large number of things to offer nature lovers.
A type II-III+, 8.9-mile-in-length whitewater segment can be found on close by Skagit River, the Goodell Creek to Copper Creek portion. This portion of Skagit River is a mid difficulty segment for whitewater boating. Whitewater rafting and kayaking could turn treacherous,
 
    so check the situation prior to departure. Hidden Lake Trail is a delightful close by wilderness hiking trail; it has a height difference of 2,693 feet and is 5.8 miles in distance. If you wish for a demanding trek, Hidden Lake Trail
  necessitates more or less one day to trek. A delightful great outdoors hiking trail close by, 2.2 miles in length, with a height difference of 1,153 feet is Pyramid Lake Trail. You need two and a half hours to backcountry hike the Pyramid Lake Trail; it's a tough backcountry hike. Going for a hike is better than anything; the 16.4-mile-long Sourdough Lookout Trail is close by; it has an altitude difference of 5,982 feet.
