In case you don’t mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Stetattle Creek, and you can go for a hike on the Hidden Lake Trail. Getting to Goodell Creek from Group Campground is easy, and pleasant hiking is available along the Pyramid Lake Trail. lakes. Thornton Lakes is a lake in the neighborhood, and a trip to Rockport State Park when you're here is never a bad idea. That right there is plenty of exciting stuff already but it goes on, the Northern Cascade Range has it all. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Group Campground; Sourdough Lookout Trail is a good local trail, and a fine place for whitewater paddling is Skagit River.
