  Outdoors recreation is bountiful, some of the cool stuff you can do is fishing, swimming, whitewater paddling, and hiking, so you won’t run out of things to do. This is a great vicinity for people who like lakes. Lake Lucinda is a lake in the vicinity; skiing at Hurricane Ridge Ski Lodge is one of those things you just must do. This camp ground is located in the gorgeous Olympic Mountains.
So much amusing stuff in the neighborhood of Gorge Campground, and it is a very glorious campground. Many folks stay here so they can go to Sequim Bay State Park.
    If the weather is magnificent here at Gorge Campground, you can go for a hike along the Tubal Cain Mine Trail, and you'll meet a lot of people from Sequim here.
Gorge Campground is a campground liked by the folks from Sequim. At Gorge Campground you don’t see much precipitation;
the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain, and July is when it's the driest. This is such a gorgeous campground. A nice site for whitewater paddling close to Gorge Campground is Dungeness River, and some of the water nearby flows, like Skookum Creek.
During the summer months, highs usually are in the 60's at Gorge Campground. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Gorge Campground are in the 30's. The magnificent local attractions
 
and all the outdoors recreation are good motives to come. But wait, there's more to do close to Gorge Campground. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Gray Wolf River; going for a hike on the Mount Zion Trail is always a wonderful adventure.
Yep, outdoors amusing stuff truly is abundant here in the Olympic Mountains. You can run the rapids of Dungeness River close to Gorge Campground; Sequim Bay State Park is a glorious site to stretch your legs a bit. This campground is always a diversion. Olympic National Park is a perfect national park, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Clink Trail.
There is a brilliant hiking trail right next door to Gorge Campground called the Royal Creek Trail.
Pack your camping stuff and leave the city behind; Gorge Campground in Washington is such a glorious place. If you want a wonderful time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Olympic Mountains. Places like Pleasant Harbor State Park are perfect to stop by, and the Bear Mountain Trail is a perfect hiking trail close by.
