Glacier View Campground, Northern Cascade Range, Washington Custom Search   Great place, but a bit out of the way. If you don't like primitive camping, don't go there. Views are amazing, but this campground is solely a tent camping campground. Says Nancy If you are willing to drive just a little further and not care about flushing toilets (They have the cleanest port-a-potties I have ever experienced). Then you'll find a heavenly spot called Glacier View Campground. It's incredible and the hosts there are much friendlier.       Go there if you get the chance. You'll never think of camping anywhere else. Even the locals stay there. Says Lorna We stayed at Glacier View Campground recently and it was amazing. The view was as incredible as they say.   There is an on-site camphost who has maps of local trails and who gives great advice and sells firewood. This is a primitive campground, so no flushing toilets. But I could have cared less as the camphost and his wife made sure they were super clean. Just a lovely place to camp. Will do it again for sure. Says Marissa Glacier View Campground has 23 tent campsites located at an elevation of 1,900 feet, on the south side of Lake Wenatchee. The campground       opens from May to September. Activities that are popular among campers while here are hiking, backpacking, picnicking, canoeing, boating, swimming, as well as fishing. Drinking water, boat ramp, restrooms, and visitor center are ones   of the amenities here.
