Among the things you can do close to Fairholme Campground are fishing, whitewater paddling, hiking, and swimming, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. You should explore Thompson Point when you're here at Fairholme Campground, and do go to Cole Creek since you're here at Fairholme Campground. This is such a fun site for a campground. Soleduck River - South Fork is a great whitewater spot in the neighborhood of Fairholme Campground, and going for a hike on the Pyramid Mountain Trail is always a nice adventure.
