Eightmile Campground, Northern Cascade Range, Washington   Eightmile Campground is a very popular old favorite campground among the people from Leavenworth. From a rain point of view Eightmile Campground is a pretty typical spot; the wettest month of the year is regularly January, that's the one that snows the most; the driest of the months is July. Coming to this campground is always a brilliant idea. If you come at the right time of year, Icicle Creek offers some brilliant whitewater, and the County Line Trail offers hiking at its best. Eightmile Campground is located in a neighborhood with scores of exciting things to do, and it's always fun to be at this campground. If you like the outdoors, you won’t be saddened; there's whitewater paddling, swimming, fishing, and hiking, so there's no way to get bored. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Mission Ridge. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun things in the Northern Cascade Range. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Icicle Creek, and there's good hiking along the Icicle Trail.
