Not much rainfall falls here at East Crossing Campground; during the month of December you get the most rain around here while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. At East Crossing Campground you can observe Schmith Knob, and close by you hit upon the Clink Trail which is a delightful hiking trail. A campground like this is too splendid to miss. You can run the rapids of Gray Wolf River in the neighborhood of East Crossing Campground, and going for a hike on the Tubal Cain Mine Trail is always a wonderful adventure. The Olympic Mountains scenery is always wonderful. Since
you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by nearby Smith Lake, and Dosewallips State Park is a fine site. Summer brings highs in the 60's to East Crossing Campground, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. During the winter this place gets highs
in the 40's, and nighttime lows through the wintertime for East Crossing Campground tend to be in the 30's. This campground is so splendid. Don't leave East Crossing Campground without first going for a hike along the Royal Creek Trail; there are some wonderful whitewater spots on Dungeness River.
