  Dougan Creek Campground is a splendid camp ground to use as a base while enjoying the Northern Cascade Range. There are some fine whitewater spots on Stebbins Creek; naturally Dougan Creek flows through this vicinity.
At Dougan Creek Campground entertaining stuff to do is plentiful, and if you're trying to locate a perfect site to go camping, this is a pleasant pick.
That right there is loads already, but it keeps on going; Dougan Creek Campground has it all. If you come at the right time of year, Washougal River offers some tremendous whitewater,
    and there are magnificent locations to discover along the Rock Creek Trail. Outdoors recreation is bountiful, some of the exciting stuff you can do is whitewater paddling, and hiking, so you won’t get bored. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Northern Cascade Range. Going for
a hike on the Green Leaf Trail is always a wonderful adventure.
Dougan Creek Campground gets a good deal of water; the month with most of the rain is December, and July meanwhile is the driest month. Don't leave Dougan Creek Campground without first going for a hike along the Horseshoe Ridge Trail; don't leave without visiting Benson State Park.
All the fine local attractions around here and all the outdoors recreation will make you pleased you came. This section of Washington has a perfect deal of outdoors activities at your disposal. But wait,
 
there's more fun stuff to do in the Northern Cascade Range. Near Dougan Creek Campground you hit upon the Washougal Trail which is a brilliant hiking trail, and Shepperds Dell State Park is worth checking out.
Coming to this campground is always a great idea. There's whitewater on Washougal River for all you adrenaline people; there's magnificent hiking along the Soda Peaks Trail. Several people stay here for the purpose of being near Shepperds Dell State Park.
Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Dougan Creek Campground. Throughout the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 40's. During the winter highs are in the 40's, and all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Dougan Creek Campground temperatures drop to the 30's.
