Dougan Creek Campground gets a good deal of water; the month with most of the rain is December, and July meanwhile is the driest month. Don't leave Dougan Creek Campground without first going for a hike along the Horseshoe Ridge Trail; don't leave without visiting Benson State Park. on Washougal River for all you adrenaline people; there's magnificent hiking along the Soda Peaks Trail. Several people stay here for the purpose of being near Shepperds Dell State Park. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Dougan Creek Campground. Throughout the moonlight
hours it's mostly in the 40's. During the winter highs are in the 40's, and all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Dougan Creek Campground temperatures drop to the 30's.
