there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Hurricane Ridge Ski Lodge. Near Deer Park Campground you locate the Lake Creek Trail which is a delightful hiking trail, as expected you could also stop by Maiden Lake while you're here; it's not far at all.
