| you don’t mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Kettle River. There are so many enjoyable things to do close to Deer Creek Summit Campground; campgrounds like these are great. Why not take a refreshing hike along the White Mountain Trail, and the top of Sentinel Butte is easily observed from Deer Creek Summit Campground. Not much rain falls here at Deer Creek Summit Campground; through the month of December you get the most snow around here; the driest month is September.
