The top of Esmeralda Peaks is easily seen from De Roux Campground, and Longs Pass is a great location to spend some time. So many local attractions and the close by outdoors recreation are great motives to come. Man, is there heaps of exciting things to do in the Northern Cascade Range. Some of the water close by flows, like DeRoux Creek; there are fine spots to explore along the Sasse Mountain Trail. This campground is so brilliant. The slopes of Stephens Pass are so inviting nobody can resist, and don't leave De Roux Campground without first going for a hike along the Lake Michael Trail. Scores of folks select De Roux Campground in order to be near Iron Horse State Park. In case you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Teanaway River - North Fork, and De Roux Campground is close to Wenatchee National Forest which is a scenic place. There's such a large number of things to do at De Roux Campground including whitewater paddling, and hiking, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen.
