Good hiking is available along the Meadow Mountain Trail, and close by Rat Trap Pass is a magnificent spot to go. Paddling on Sauk River is so much fun; Whitechuck River has a splendid whitewater paddling spot nearby. Crystal Creek is next to Crystal Creek Campground and is always a pleasure to explore; when you're here it's always fun to visit Wallace Falls State Park. The Northern Cascade Range scenery is always picturesque.
