Cougar Flat Campground, Northern Cascade Range, Washington   Just can't get enough of the Northern Cascade Range. If you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Bumping River; the Richmond Mine Trail is a perfect hiking trail nearby. We should all go camping for a couple of days every so often, and Cougar Flat Campground in Washington is a fine site to go. Places like Lake Easton State Park are good to take a look at, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Fifes Ridge Trail. The Northern Cascade Range scenery is always picturesque. This campground is a picturesque location to stop at. Get soaked paddling on American River, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Nile Ridge Trail. All the glorious local attractions in close proximity and the glorious variety of outdoors recreation are sure to keep you coming back persistently. Take a side spree to Goat Creek, and Crystal Mountain has nice slopes and a friendly staff. There is so much fun stuff to do in the neighborhood of Cougar Flat Campground, and it is a fine escape from the routine. Whitewater paddling is splendid on American River; nearby you   come across the Goose Prairie Trail which is a nice hiking trail. And if that's not enough there's a lot more enjoyable things to do in the Northern Cascade Range. At Cougar Flat Campground you can make out Old Scab Mountain; if the weather is glorious, you can go for a hike along the Goat Creek Trail. At this campground you will always have a great time. Iron Horse State Park is a pleasant site. High temperatures at Cougar Flat Campground during the days of summer are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 40's. Through the wintertime highs are regularly in the 30's, and nighttime lows through the winter for Cougar Flat Campground tend to be in the 20's. Cougar Flat Campground gets a lot of water; January is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month is July.
