come across the Goose Prairie Trail which is a nice hiking trail. And if that's not enough there's a lot more enjoyable things to do in the Northern Cascade Range. At Cougar Flat Campground you can make out Old Scab Mountain; if the weather is glorious, you can go for a hike along
the Goat Creek Trail. At this campground you will always have a great time. Iron Horse State Park is a pleasant site. High temperatures at Cougar Flat Campground during the days of summer are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 40's. Through
the wintertime highs are regularly in the 30's, and nighttime lows through the winter for Cougar Flat Campground tend to be in the 20's. Cougar Flat Campground gets a lot of water; January is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month is July.
