Take a hike on the Sourdough Lookout Trail; most likely you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Thunder Lake is just a very short distance away. This campground has so unbelievably much. Everybody loves Rockport State Park. Butler Brown Flats is a delightful place to check out, and there are some pleasant whitewater spots on Granite Creek. That right there is a heap already, but it carries on; Colonial Creek Campground has it all. |

Hiking along the Pyramid Lake Trail is good fun, and as expected Rhode Creek flows through this vicinity. This camp ground is one of the great locations to camp here in the Northern Cascade Range. While you're here at Colonial Creek Campground you can take a hike along the Jack
| Mountain Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Stetattle Creek offers some tremendous whitewater. During the warm months at Colonial Creek Campground temperatures are commonly in the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Highs through the winter are typically in the 30's; nighttime lows in the 20's for Colonial Creek Campground.
