Chambers Lake Campground, Northern Cascade Range, Washington   This is such a great campground. Visiting Mount Rainier National Park is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. As long as you fancy the outdoors you will fancy Washington. But wait, there's more exciting stuff to do in the Northern Cascade Range. Glide down the rapids of Johnson Creek in a kayak; hiking along the Jordan Creek Trail is wonderful fun. You need to get out of the house; Chambers Lake Campground, Washington is a splendid place for getting out. Man, is there plenty of entertaining things to do next to Chambers Lake Campground.     When you're here at Chambers Lake Campground it's always fun to go to Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest, and the Glacier Lake Trail is a great hiking trail nearby. Paddling on Cispus River is so much fun, and if the weather is glorious, you can go for a hike along the Lily Basin Trail. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Northern Cascade Range. White Pass has wonderful slopes and a friendly staff; on a magnificent day you can take a hike along the Angry Mountain Trail. Outdoors recreation is bountiful, some of the amusing stuff you can do is fishing, swimming, whitewater paddling, and hiking, so there's absolutely no way to get bored. This campground is so great. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Cowlitz River - Clear Fork, and going for a hike along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 24 will let you absorb   the natural beauty of this region. All through the warm days of summer, highs frequently are in the 70's at Chambers Lake Campground. Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 40's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 30's; nighttime lows at Chambers Lake Campground during the wintertime frequently drop into the 20's. This camp ground is positioned in the beautiful Northern Cascade Range. The great variety of local attractions and such a great variety of outdoors recreation will make you pleased you came. Lakes are magnificent; Chambers Lake is a lake that's near Chambers Lake Campground, and Gifford Pinchot National Forest is both splendid and wonderful. Chambers Lake Campground is a quite wet place mostly with lots of rain; the month of January is the wettest with most of the snow; the driest of the months is July.
