Coming to this campground is always a delightful idea. Take a hike on the Saint Helens Way; lakes are such peaceful places, why not have a look at Lost Lake. Hiking along the Observation Peak Trail is tremendous fun, and Shepperds Dell State Park is a pleasant spot to check out on a pretty day.
All the
    wonderful local attractions close at hand and so much stuff to do are good reasons to come. Canyon Creek Campground is positioned in a vicinity with scores of enjoyable things to do, and if you're trying to find a great location to go camping, this is a tremendous choice.
You
shouldn't spend all your time indoors; you need to get out of the house once in a while, and Canyon Creek Campground in Washington is the outdoors at its best. So much entertaining stuff in the Northern Cascade Range, just fantastic. Lewis River - East Fork has a delightful whitewater paddling spot nearby, and a spree to Rooster Rock State Park when you're here is never a bad idea. At Canyon Creek Campground you always meet someone from Cougar; Siouxon Creek is a brilliant whitewater spot nearby.

Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 40's; through the dark hours in the winter at Canyon Creek Campground temperatures plunge to the 30's. Canyon Creek Campground is a top choice campground with people from Cougar.
Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the Northern Cascade Range. The Siouxon Trail offers hiking at its best, and in case you don’t mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Canyon Creek - Lewis River Tributary. Be careful coming to Canyon Creek Campground, you might not ever want to go back home again. There's magnificent hiking along the Horseshoe Ridge Trail, and why not a little side visit to Sorehead Creek.
Canyon Creek Campground is one of the locations to camp here in the Northern Cascade Range. The high level of rainfall makes Canyon Creek Campground a rather wet spot; most of the rain falls during December, and July on the other hand is the driest.
