Bumping Dam Campground, Northern Cascade Range, Washington   Now, you may feel that's heaps but there's even more fun stuff to do here in the Northern Cascade Range. Lake Easton State Park is a striking spot any time of year; everyone nearby loves skiing at Crystal Mountain. The Goose Prairie Trail is a magnificent hiking trail in the neighborhood of Bumping Dam Campground, and Granite Lake is a nearby lake that you could go to. All through the summertime at Bumping Dam Campground highs are usually in the 70's,     and through the night it cools down to the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Bumping Dam Campground are in the 20's. Coming to this campground is always a splendid idea. Bumping Lake Dam is worth stopping at while you're here, and there are great sites to explore along the Bismarck Trail. Going camping for a couple of days here in Washington is something you ought to do. This camp ground is one of the fine places to camp here in the Northern Cascade Range. Now, you may believe that's plenty but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Bumping Dam Campground. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Bumping River, and going for a hike on the Nile Ridge Trail is always a great adventure. So many local attractions and the perfect variety of outdoors recreation will undeniably have you   coming back over and over. Barton Creek is a nice site to pop by, and Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest is a nice site to stretch your legs a bit. There's so much stuff to do near Bumping Dam Campground, and camping is such a fun activity, and this is a pleasant site to do that. Outdoors recreation is plentiful, some of the entertaining stuff you can do is swimming, hiking, fishing, and whitewater paddling, so running out of exciting things to do won’t happen. A great deal of precipitation falls at Bumping Dam Campground; the month with most of the rain is January, and the driest month is July. This campground is so charming. There are some good whitewater spots on American River; nearby you stumble on the American Ridge Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail. Get drenched paddling on American River, and there is a brilliant hiking trail close by called the Richmond Mine Trail.
