coming back over and over. Barton Creek is a nice site to pop by, and Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest is a nice site to stretch your legs a bit. There's so much stuff to do near Bumping Dam Campground, and camping is such a fun activity, and this is a pleasant site to
do that. Outdoors recreation is plentiful, some of the entertaining stuff you can do is swimming, hiking, fishing, and whitewater paddling, so running out of exciting things to do won’t happen. A great deal of precipitation falls at Bumping Dam Campground; the month with most of
the rain is January, and the driest month is July. This campground is so charming. There are some good whitewater spots on American River; nearby you stumble on the American Ridge Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail. Get drenched paddling on American River, and there is a brilliant hiking trail close by called the Richmond Mine Trail.
