Blackpine Lake Campground, Northern Cascade Range, Washington

  Take a side tour to Black Pine Creek; if you come at the right time of year, Methow River offers some great whitewater. Some folks select this campground for the purpose of being near Pearrygin Lake State Park. Around Blackpine Lake Campground you don’t get a lot of rainfall; most of the snow falls all through December, and July is the month with the least moisture.

This is in fact a wonderful campground. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Twisp River. During the warm days of summer at Blackpine Lake Campground temperatures are regularly in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Blackpine Lake Campground fall into the 10's.
 
With so much to do in Washington you'll never get bored. Pack your tent and sleeping bag and head out on the road; Blackpine Lake Campground, Washington is a nice place for getting out.
You'll beyond doubt wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff in the Northern Cascade Range. Pearrygin Lake State Park is a magnificent place to go to, and do set aside some time for Shady Nook Basin since you're here at Blackpine Lake Campground. So much cool stuff to do here at Blackpine Lake Campground, too great to be true. Going for a hike on the Devils Backbone Trailbike Loop Trail is always a perfect adventure; there are some good whitewater spots on Chewuch River. This campground is so charming. A tremendous location to stop at close to Blackpine Lake Campground is Horse Gulch, and you can never get enough of the good skiing at Echo Valley. Lakes? Sure, Black Pine Lake is around here, and the fine people of Carlton like to hang out close by.
