Salmon Trail. A wonderful place for whitewater paddling close to Bird Creek Campground is Klickitat River, and do take a hike on the Little Baldy Trail. Summertime at Bird Creek Campground comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures
descend down into the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's; nighttime lows through the wintertime for Bird Creek Campground tend to be in the 20's. All the outdoors exciting stuff in the Northern Cascade Range will keep you coming back many times.
In case you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Trout Lake Creek; don't leave Bird Creek Campground without first going for a hike along the Round The Mountain Trail.
