Alphine Campground, Wenatchee Mountains, Washington   Quite a lot of cool stuff to do right next door to Alphine Campground, and loads of folks are fond of coming here to get away. Washington is a fine site for campers. Peshastin Creek is a perfect whitewater spot in the neighborhood of Alphine Campground, and the High Creek Trail offers hiking at its best. Be careful coming to the Wenatchee Mountains, you might not ever want to go home again. Olmstead Place State Park is a pretty place any time of year, and a good site for whitewater paddling is Wenatchee River. Through the warmest time of the year highs here at Alphine Campground reach the 80's while nighttime lows are commonly in the 40's.
