Alder Thicket Campground, Blue Mountains, Washington

  This is no site for people who don’t like to have a good time. A visit to Umatilla National Forest when you're here at Alder Thicket Campground is never a bad idea, and the July Ridge Trail is a splendid hiking trail close by. Alder Thicket Campground is a location that is rather waterless frequently; through the month of December you get the most snow around here while July is usually the driest month.
Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the Blue Mountains. Bluewood has splendid slopes and a friendly staff; if the weather is great,
    you can go for a hike along the Salter Trail.
This is such a wonderful campground. In the event that you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Grande Ronde River, and going for a hike along the Bear Creek Trail will let you absorb the
natural beauty of this area. High temperatures at Alder Thicket Campground throughout the summertime are in the 80's. Summer night lows plunge down to the 50's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 30's; through the dark hours in the wintertime at Alder Thicket Campground temperatures drop to the 20's.
The pleasant local attractions and the close by outdoors recreation will absolutely have you coming back persistently. You can't be in a building every day; you need to get out every so often, and Alder Thicket Campground in Washington is a perfect
