Meadow Campground a wet site; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is July. Lots of folks stay at Ahtanum Meadow Campground so they can go to Fort Simcoe State Park. Summertime highs at Ahtanum Meadow Campground generally
tend to be in the 70's, and the night is a little chillier of course, usually in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Ahtanum Meadow Campground are in the 20's. Middle Fork Ahtanum Creek is one of the streams nearby
that might be worth stopping at; Fort Simcoe State Park is worth visiting. If you come at the right time of year, Tieton River offers some great whitewater, and going for a hike on the Little Wildcat Trail is always a splendid adventure.
