From a rainfall point of view White Caps Campground is a rather normal site; the month   with most of the rain is August; February meanwhile is the driest month. Be careful coming to the Green Mountains, you might not ever want to go back home again. Paddling on Barton River is so much fun. Lakes are fine; Dolloff Ponds is a lake that's near White Caps Campground. This campground is so good. Head up to Lyndon Outing Club and strap some skis to your feet; going for a hike on the Herbert Hawkes Hiking Trail is always a nice adventure. Throughout the summer months at White Caps Campground highs are regularly in the 70's. All through the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's. During the winter highs are frequently in the 20's with temperatures at White Caps Campground dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. That right there is loads of amusing stuff already but it goes on, the Green Mountains has it all. You certainly should stop at Crystal Lake State Park since you're here at White Caps Campground; you obtain a pleasant sight of Mount Pisgah from here.
