No problem; Stillwater Campground in Vermont is a wonderful choice. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting things in the Green Mountains. Stillwater Campground is a good place of common precipitation; all through the month of August you get the
| | most rain around here, and the driest of the months is February. That right there is loads of entertaining things already but it goes on, the Green Mountains has it all. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Wells River, and on a good day it's a tremendous idea to spend the day at Boulder Beach. For the duration of the summer highs here at Stillwater Campground get into the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. the winter temperatures at Stillwater Campground fall into the 0's. This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Groton State Forest is worth a visit; going for a hike on the Coldwater Brook Trail is always a splendid adventure. There are some splendid whitewater
spots on Joe's Brook River, and if the weather is delightful, you obtain a wonderful view of Little Deer Mountain from Stillwater Campground. People from Groton love to come to Stillwater Campground, and you should without doubt pop by Silver Ledge during your stay. This is
really a good campground. You can never get enough of the good skiing at Lyndon Outing Club, and on a nice day you can take a hike along the Hosmer Brook Trail. That right there is a load already, but it goes on; Stillwater Campground has it all. A fine site like Boulder Beach
State Park close to Stillwater Campground is too nice to leave out, and there is a great hiking trail nearby called the Little Deer Trail. Stillwater Campground is a very well liked campground by the residents of Groton. The surroundings of this campground have so much to offer.
Going to Ricker Pond State Park near Stillwater Campground is a splendid thing to do, and a quick journey to Stillwater Brook is beyond doubt a great idea. There are delightful spots to look at along the Big Deer Mountain Trail, and Lake Groton is a delightful lake nearby.
Many folks camp here in order to be close to Boulder Beach State Park. All the great local attractions close by and the close by outdoors recreation are good causes to come. Be careful coming to the Green Mountains, you might not ever want to return home again. There's whitewater
on Waits River for all you adrenaline rush seekers; while you're here you can take a hike along the Groton State Forest Nature Trail.
