  The Green Mountains scenery is always pretty. Ricker Campground is a campground that is extremely prized by visitors from Groton. Many folks pick Ricker Campground when they come to stop at Ricker Pond State Park. Be careful coming to the Green Mountains, you might not ever wanna return back home again. If the weather is splendid here at Ricker Campground, you can go for a hike along the Peacham Bog Trail, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Joe's Brook River.
A visit to Vermont is not complete without some camping. If you want a glorious time in
    the great outdoors, just come on down to Ricker Campground. Nothing beats kicking back at Boulder Beach; if you come at the right time of year, Wells River offers some fine whitewater.
Get your camping stuff packed and get your motor running; Ricker Campground in Vermont is
such a great location. There's such a vast number of things to do at Ricker Campground including swimming, fishing, whitewater paddling, and hiking, so running out of fun things to do won’t happen. So many amusing things near Ricker Campground, and it is a great escape from the routine.
The summit of Jerry Lund Mountain can be seen from Ricker Campground; Ricker Pond State Park is worth a visit. It's a great idea to pop by Depot Brook, it's near Ricker Campground; there is a glorious hiking trail close by called the Little Deer Trail.

good local attractions close at hand and such a vast number of things to do are guaranteed to keep you coming back over and over. This campground is always a diversion. There are some good whitewater spots on Waits River, and you'll meet a lot of people from Groton here. At Ricker Campground throughout the long summer days highs are in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's. Through the winter highs are mostly in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Ricker Campground are in the 0's.
This is such a fun place for a campground. The Hosmer Brook Trail is a brilliant hiking trail close to Ricker Campground, and don't leave without visiting Boulder Beach State Park. Ricker Campground gets a normal amount of rain; during August this area sees the most rain; the driest month is February.
You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff at Ricker Campground. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Lyndon Outing Club while you're here. Yeah, come up here to the Green Mountains for a glorious time. Lakes are such serene places, why not check out Ricker Pond close to Ricker Campground, and going for a hike along the Coldwater Brook Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood.
Have a brilliant hiking adventure along the Groton State Forest Nature Trail, and you can take a little tour to Groton Pond Dam while you're here at Ricker Campground.
