Ricker Campground, Green Mountains, Vermont   The Green Mountains scenery is always pretty. Ricker Campground is a campground that is extremely prized by visitors from Groton. Through the winter highs are mostly in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Ricker Campground are in the 0's. This is such a fun place for a campground. The Hosmer Brook Trail is a brilliant hiking trail close to Ricker Campground, and don't leave without visiting Boulder Beach State Park. Ricker Campground gets a normal amount of rain; during August this area sees the most rain; the driest month is February. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff at Ricker Campground. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Lyndon Outing Club while you're here. Yeah, come up here to the Green Mountains for a glorious time. Lakes are such serene places, why not check out Ricker Pond close to Ricker Campground, and going for a hike along the Coldwater Brook Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. Have a brilliant hiking adventure along the Groton State Forest Nature Trail, and you can take a little tour to Groton Pond Dam while you're here at Ricker Campground.
