There's a great class III+(V) sweep of whitewater close by on Ottauquechee River, the 1-mile-from-beginning-to-end Right above Route 4 to 1 Mile below Route 4 section. The Right above Route 4 to 1 Mile below Route 4 section of Ottauquechee River is suited for whitewater paddlers who have been raft paddling for some time. Always check the situation       before you go raft paddling because raft paddling is a risky endeavor. Here at Quechee Pine Valley Campground there are plenty of folks from White River Junction; Deweys Mills Dam is a spot that is near Quechee Pine Valley Campground.   So many enjoyable things to do in the Green Mountains, not enough time. Don't leave Quechee Pine Valley Campground without first going for a hike along the Slot Trail. While you're here at Quechee Pine Valley Campground you can play some golf at Fore-U Golf Center, and you can go for a hike on the Futures Trail.
