Moose River Campground, Green Mountains, Vermont   At Moose River Campground exciting stuff to do is abundant, and being here is always fun. There's glorious hiking along the South Shore Hiking Trail, and nearby you hit upon great places like Chesterfield Valley. This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. The snow is delightful at Lyndon Outing Club; Moose River Campground is right by the Cobble Hill Trail. This camp ground is one of the glorious locations to camp here in the Green Mountains. The amount of precipitation that falls at Moose River Campground is close to the national average; August is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. This campground is a fine location to stop by. A magnificent place for whitewater paddling close to Moose River Campground is Joe's Brook River, and Saddleback Mountain is beautiful and can be observed from here.
