Campbells Bay Campground, Vermont   This part of Vermont is always a pleasure to stop at through camping season. North Hero State Park is a striking spot any time of year, and there's delightful hiking along the Southern Tip Trail. First Creek is a lovely stream that is worth taking a look at; there are some great whitewater spots on Mill Brook. Campbells Bay Campground is an old favorite with the folks from Swanton. This campground is so good. The slopes of Cochran Ski Center are so inviting noone can resist. At Campbells Bay Campground during the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's while Campbells Bay Campground overnight low temperatures all through the winter are in the 0's.
