Big D Campground, Vermont

  This is such a good campground. The surroundings of this campground have such a great deal of things to offer. Lake Hortonia is a good lake close to Big D Campground, and there's whitewater on Poultney River for all you adrenaline kick people. Summertime highs at Big D Campground ordinarily tend to be in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Big D Campground.
Big D Campground is a good place of typical rainfall; August is the wettest
    month with most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. A lot of people stay here to stop at nearby Half Moon Pond State Park. At last, camping time is here again, and Big D Campground in Vermont is a really great spot to spend some time.

Take a side visit to Giddings Brook, and if you're here you have to visit Page Point. Going to Half Moon Pond State Park in close proximity to Big D Campground is a good thing to do, and a day on the slopes of Pico Mountain is just what you need.
Near Big D Campground you come across Hubbardton Gulf which is a glorious site to check out, and one of the principal characteristics of the surroundings of Big D Campground is Eaton Hill. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing stuff at Big D Campground. If you want a great time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Big D Campground. Go for a hike on the Chandler Ridge Trail; you'll meet a lot of people from Bomoseen here.

If the weather is magnificent here at Big D Campground, you can go for a hike along the Daniel Coffey Memorial Trial; there are some great whitewater spots on Otter Creek.
