| on Potts Creek for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and on a nice day you can take a hike along the Cove Trail. Virginia has such a large number of things to offer nature lovers. Do stop at Pond Lick Branch Reservoir close to The Pines Campground, it's a charming lake; the Potts Arm Trail is a good hiking trail nearby. If spending too much time indoors got you down, Don't worry; The Pines Campground in Virginia is a great pick. of attractions and such a good variety of outdoors recreation will make you glad you came. This campground is always a joy. Places like Moncove Lake State Park are nice to have a look at, and hey, Gotta ski right? The Homestead is a splendid spot to do that. The warmest time of
the year at The Pines Campground comes with high temperatures in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 60's. Highs through the wintertime are commonly in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at The Pines Campground. There are some delightful whitewater spots on
Barbours Creek, and close by you locate the Brushy Mountain Trail which is a great hiking trail. Jefferson National Forest is a splendid place to stretch your legs a bit, and there is a great hiking trail close by called the North Mountain Trail. You can run the rapids of Johns
Creek near The Pines Campground, and lots of folks from New Castle come here. The annual rain here at The Pines Campground is about average; the month with most of the rain is July; February is the month with the least moisture. There's heaps of outdoors recreation available nearby such as swimming, whitewater paddling, fishing, and hiking, so possibly you want to stay a bit.
