Spent a weekend here. It's the local kids party spot, avoid it. No law here. It is not a campground . Says Scarlett (Sun, 19 Sep 2010)

The perfect
selection of local attractions, and such an incredible array of things to do are delightful reasons to come. Pack your camping stuff and leave the city behind; Smith Tract Campground in Virginia is precisely what you need.
Smith Tract Campground is esteemed by the people in Natural Bridge Station. This camp ground is situated in the gorgeous Blue Ridge Mountains.
On North Creek nearby you bump into the 2.5-mile-from-start-to-finish Campground to Jennings
Creek portion of type II-IV whitewater. This portion of North Creek is well suited for whitewater paddlers who have been whitewater rafting or kayaking for a while but who are not yet set for the exceptionally risky rapids. Kayak
paddling can turn risky, so check the situation prior to departure. A journey to Smith Mountain Lake State Park revitalizes the spirit, and hiking along the Balcony Falls Trail is splendid fun. All year is a good time in the Blue Ridge Mountains if you adore the outdoors. Douthat State Park is a wonderful spot, and Cave Mountain Dam is a gorgeous location.
