Shady Mountain Campground, Blue Ridge Mountains, Virginia   This camp ground is one of the brilliant places to camp here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Have a wonderful hiking adventure along the Cashaw Creek Trail; there are some nice whitewater spots on Hay's Creek. Just can't get enough of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Staton's Creek, and if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Piney Ridge Trail. This section of Virginia is always a bliss to check out during camping season. There's loads of outdoors recreation available     nearby such as whitewater paddling, fishing, swimming, and hiking, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. For the duration of the months of summer here at Shady Mountain Campground, high temperatures ordinarily reach the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 60's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 40's with temperatures at Shady Mountain Campground dipping down into the 20's through winter nights. This is in fact a nice campground. You can catch a sight of Shady Mountain from Shady Mountain Campground; the Balcony Falls Trail is a magnificent hiking trail close by. Shady Mountain Campground is a popular spot with people in Buena Vista. So many local attractions and such a great deal of things to do are splendid reasons to come. This campground is   so stunning. It's a great idea to check out Roberts Creek, it's in the neighborhood of Shady Mountain Campground, and there's whitewater on Irish Creek for all you thrill seekers. And that's not all the things to do here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Very pretty scenery and brilliant skiing is what you get at Wintergreen, and Indian Gap is definitely a splendid place to pop by. Alright, it's been too long since you went outside, time to go camping, and Shady Mountain Campground in Virginia is a nice place to go. That right there is a lot already, but it carries on; Shady Mountain Campground has it all. While you're here at Shady Mountain Campground you can take a hike along the Tolley Gap Trail; Douthat State Park is a great spot to explore.
