Raccoon Branch Campground, Virginia   We have used Raccoon Branch since late 60's and have nothing but praise for it. It is a small friendly family place and located in a small friendly area. All the pleasant local attractions nearby and all the outdoors recreation will undeniably have you coming back persistently. A lot of fun is at this campground. Whitewater paddling is great on New River, and going for a hike on the Switchback Trail     is always a glorious adventure. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors entertaining stuff the area next to Raccoon Branch Campground has to offer. Raccoon Branch Campground is not far at all from Sugar Grove, and there is a good hiking trail close by called the Hickory Ridge Trail. Virginia is a great outdoors state.
