Good hiking is available along the Balcony Falls Trail, and not far from Oronoco Campground you'll stumble on Lynchburg Reservoir which is a striking lake. This campground has so much. A fine place like Holliday Lake State Park near Oronoco Campground is too nice to leave out,
and some close by water includes Lady Slipper Run. Some of the things you can do here at Oronoco Campground are swimming, whitewater paddling, hiking, and fishing, so most likely you want to stick around for a while.
