South River - Rapidan Tributary; there are great sites to look at along the Powell Mountain Trail. Lewis Mountain Campground is a very well liked campground by residents of Stanley. The warmest time of the year at Lewis Mountain Campground arrives with high temperatures in the
80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 60's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 20's for Lewis Mountain Campground.
At Lewis Mountain Campground entertaining stuff to do is bountiful, and
