Hurricane Campground, Blue Ridge Mountains, Virginia

  Hurricane Campground is a very well loved campground by people of Troutdale. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Blue Ridge Mountains. Grayson Highlands State Park is a delightful site to go if you're at Hurricane Campground, and in case you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on New River - South Fork.
There's such an incredible array of things to do right next door to Hurricane Campground; it certainly is a perfect campground. Scores of fun is at this campground. Hungry Mother State Park is worth visiting
    if you're at Hurricane Campground, and if the weather is wonderful, you can go for a hike along the Hickory Ridge Trail. The high level of precipitation makes Hurricane Campground a reasonably wet place; most of the rain falls throughout July; the driest of the months is November.
Lots of folks from Troutdale come to Hurricane Campground, and hiking along the Comers Creek Trail is tremendous fun. This campground is a magnificent location to pop by. Hurricane Campground is right by the Hurricane Creek Trail; you can run the rapids of Big Wilson Creek.
Hurricane Campground in fact is in the middle of a charming outdoors paradise. Green Cove Creek is a magnificent whitewater spot in the neighborhood of Hurricane Campground, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Switchback Trail. The warmest time of the year brings
 
highs in the 80's to Hurricane Campground. Summer night lows sink down to the 50's. Highs throughout the wintertime are frequently in the 40's; overnight lows through the wintertime for Hurricane Campground tend to be in the 20's. Hurricane Campground is one of the locations to camp here in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Virginia is a perfect place for outdoors people. All the good local attractions in the neighborhood and all the outdoors recreation will make you delighted you came. The summit of High Point can be seen from Hurricane Campground, and swing by Hurricane Creek it's a magnificent site to visit.
Outdoors recreation is plentiful, some of the amusing stuff you can do is whitewater paddling, and hiking, so it's out of the question to get bored. Scores of people opt for this campground for the purpose of being right next door to Grayson Highlands State Park.
But wait, there's more cool things to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Slabtown Hollow is in the neighborhood of Hurricane Campground and is a splendid location; going for a hike along the Bobby's Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood.
