| | Hurricane Campground is a very well loved campground by people of Troutdale. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Blue Ridge Mountains. Grayson Highlands State Park is a delightful site to go if you're at Hurricane Campground, and in case you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on New River - South Fork. There's such an incredible array of things to do right next door to Hurricane Campground; it certainly is a perfect campground. Scores of fun is at this campground. if you're at Hurricane Campground, and if the weather is wonderful, you can go for a hike along the Hickory Ridge Trail. The high level of precipitation makes Hurricane Campground a reasonably wet place; most of the rain falls throughout July; the driest of the months is November.
| Lots of folks from Troutdale come to Hurricane Campground, and hiking along the Comers Creek Trail is tremendous fun. This campground is a magnificent location to pop by.
