Campground. Don't leave Hurricane Campground without first going for a hike along the Comers Creek Trail, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Big Wilson Creek. This camp ground is one of the glorious locations to camp here in the
Blue Ridge Mountains. Hurricane Campground gets a large amount of water; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain; the driest of the months is November. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Hurricane Campground with nighttime lows in the 50's. The wintertime
brings highs down to the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Hurricane Campground. You've been indoors for too long, you've got to get out of the house; Hurricane Campground in Virginia is the outdoors at its most excellent.
