It's a good 3-mile-long section on Big Wilson Creek. This segment of Big Wilson Creek is proposed for skilled kayak paddlers solely. Don't go whitewater boating prior to first checking the latest conditions; it's treacherous stuff.

Going for a hike on the Bobby's Trail is always a good adventure, and the summit of High Point can be made out from Hurricane Campground. That right there is heaps of fun stuff already but it goes on, the Blue Ridge Mountains has it all. Near Hurricane Campground you locate the Comers Creek Trail which is a great hiking trail; Rural Retreat Lake is a nearby lake that you could have a look at.
