This campground is always a joy. You're sure to run into some good folks from
    Bacova here, and while you're here you can take a hike along the McDonald Trail. All the water falling down from the sky makes Hidden Valley Campground a wet place; during the month of July you get the most rain around here while February is usually the driest month. A visit to
Hidden Valley revives the soul; visiting Seneca State Forest is a wonderful thing to do.
The Ritchie Trail is a fine hiking trail in close proximity to Hidden Valley Campground, and The Homestead is a very popular ski area close by. There's so much to do near Hidden Valley Campground; it is a nice escape from the city. Hidden Valley Campground is a very well liked campground by the folks of Bacova.
If you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Jackson River, and there is a fine hiking trail close by called the Winding
 
Trail. Several folks pick this campground to stop by close by Douthat State Park.
That right there is heaps already, but it keeps on going; Hidden Valley Campground has it all. You can run the rapids of Back Creek - Jackson Tributary right next door to Hidden Valley Campground, and if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Ellis Trail. Virginia has so much stuff to offer nature lovers.
Get your sleeping bag packed and leave the city behind; Hidden Valley Campground in Virginia is the outdoors at its finest. This is such a fun place for a campground. If you're here at Hidden Valley Campground, you could explore Chimney Run; a visit to Douthat State Park is a perfect idea.
Throughout the warm days of summer at Hidden Valley Campground highs are usually in the 80's, and the night is a bit chillier of course, ordinarily in the 50's. Through the wintertime highs are regularly in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Hidden Valley Campground are in the 10's.
