The Homestead is a brilliant local ski area, and don't leave Hidden Valley Campground without first going for a hike along the Ritchie Trail. This is such a good campground. A nice place for whitewater paddling right next door to Hidden Valley Campground is Jackson River, and a visit here wouldn’t be complete without a tour to nearby Seneca State Forest. Now,

Chimney Run is one of the streams close by that might be worth a visit; Jackson River is a pleasant whitewater spot close by. This is such a gorgeous campground. Go for a hike on the Ellis Trail, and get your heart beating on the tremendous whitewater of Back Creek - Jackson Tributary.
A large amount of rain falls at Hidden Valley Campground; the wettest month of the year is regularly July, that's the one that rains the most, and February meanwhile is the driest month. There's such a vast number of things to do next to Hidden Valley Campground, and you always have a magnificent time when you're here.
Hidden Valley Campground is extremely popular with the folks of Bacova. The pleasant local attractions and so many things to do will positively have you coming back repeatedly. There are delightful sites to discover along the McDonald Trail, and Douthat State Park is worth visiting.
