Craig Creek Campground is a very well prized campground by folks of Fincastle. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Blue Ridge Mountains. A tremendous place like Jefferson National Forest next to Craig Creek Campground is too good to leave out; you can have a glorious hiking adventure along the North Mountain Trail. At Craig Creek Campground you always meet someone from Fincastle, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Curry Creek Trail. the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's while Craig Creek Campground overnight low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 20's. All the outdoors fun stuff in the Blue Ridge Mountains will keep you coming back persistently. If you don't mind getting drenched,
you can always go whitewater paddling on Roaring Run, and if the weather is nice, you can go for a hike along the Potts Arm Trail. Going to Douthat State Park in the vicinity of Craig Creek Campground is a tremendous thing to do; hiking along the Fenwick Nature Trail is perfect
fun. Camping out sure is a fun thing to do, and Craig Creek Campground in Virginia is a really good place to spend some time. The tremendous selection of local attractions, and such a large number of things to do will make you delighted you came. Many folks choose this
campground to stop by nearby Jefferson National Forest. This campground is so pleasant. Some of the water close by flows, like Schoolhouse Branch, and whitewater paddling is splendid on Catawba Creek. The Homestead has good slopes and a friendly staff; if you're looking for
a perfect tour, Booker T Washington National Monument is pretty near. Craig Creek Campground gets a normal amount of annual rainfall; July is the wettest month with most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture.
