Fincastle love to come here. A typical amount of rain falls here at Craig Creek Campground; throughout the month of July you get the most rain around here while February is usually the driest month. There's such a great deal of things to do at Craig Creek Campground including whitewater
paddling, and hiking, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. Just can't get enough of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Everybody loves Jefferson National Forest, and Booker T Washington National Monument is a great local destination. This campground is so good.
Going for a hike on the North Mountain Trail is always a delightful adventure, and you can run the rapids of Catawba Creek. Through the days of summer highs here at Craig Creek Campground get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 60's. The
winter comes with highs in the 40's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Craig Creek Campground descend into the 20's. Several folks stay at this campground during their tour to Jefferson National Forest.
