There's a good 1.2-mile-long grade V+ whitewater sweep on Roaring Run close by, the County line to Recreation Area segment. Donít depend on remaining dry raft paddling
 
this sweep of Roaring Run. If you are going raft paddling, you should always check restrictions. Here at Craig Creek Campground there are plenty of people from Fincastle, and nearby you discover the Potts Arm Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail.
