There are great locations to explore     along the Trout Creek Appalachian Trail, and there is a wonderful hiking trail close by called the Brush Mountain Horse Trail. This place is unbeatable, just check out all the amusing stuff to do near Church Campgrounds. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Church Campgrounds. During the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Church Campgrounds. This campground is a wonderful place to have a look at. If you come at the right time of year, Roanoke River - North Fork offers some great whitewater, and The Meadows Golf & Country Club is a nice golf course nearby. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors fun stuff the Blue Ridge Mountains has to offer. You might want to pay a visit to Wells Hollow since   you're here at Church Campgrounds, and going for a hike on the Johns Creek Mountain Trail is always a wonderful adventure. Go for a hike on the Dragon Tooth Trail, and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Blacksburg Municipal Golf Course is close by. So much cool stuff to do at Church Campgrounds, so little time. You can spot Den Hill from Church Campgrounds, and Claytor Lake State Park is a good spot. Church Campgrounds gets a common amount of rain; May is the month that gets the most rain; January meanwhile is the driest month. Coming to this campground is always a wonderful idea.
