  Go for a hike on the Hunkerson Gap Trail. Going camping for a couple of days here in Virginia is something you have to do. Lots of people camp here in order to be in the neighborhood of Lost River State Park.
Blue Hole Campground is an old favorite with the people in Bergton. This is truly a perfect campground. Here at Blue Hole Campground you'll probably meet some folks from Bergton; get drenched paddling on Potomac River - South Fork of the South Branch.
There's more to do right next door to Blue Hole Campground other than just hanging out such
    as whitewater paddling, fishing, hiking, and swimming, so possibly you want to stay a bit. The surroundings of this campground have such an incredible array of things to offer. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Buck Lick Run Trail; Brushy Run is near Blue Hole Campground
and is always a pleasure to have a look at.
You can't spend too much time in the city; you need to get out of the house now and then, and Blue Hole Campground in Virginia is a really great spot to spend some time.
Rocky Sprur Hollow is near Blue Hole Campground and is a great spot, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Blue Hole Campground; Lick Run Trail is a glorious local trail. The yearly rain here at Blue Hole Campground is about average; through the month of July you get the most rain around here; January is the month with the least
 
moisture.
And that's not all you can do here at Blue Hole Campground. Little Mountain can be observed from Blue Hole Campground; there are other places here than Blue Hole Campground, for example Tomahawk Pond. Not far from Blue Hole Campground you find Blue Hole; whitewater paddling is good on Shenandoah River - North Fork. At Blue Hole Campground through the summer months highs are in the 80's. Summer night lows plunge down to the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 40's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Blue Hole Campground temperatures fall to the 10's.
Good hiking is available along the Dull Hunt Trail, and if you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Potomac River - South Fork of the South Branch. Such a good pick of attractions and the good variety of outdoors recreation will make you glad you came. Hit the slopes at Bryce Resort around here, and a visit to Lost River State Park when you're here is never a bad idea.
