There's a heap of outdoors recreation available in the vicinity such as swimming, hiking, fishing, and whitewater paddling, so you won’t run out of things to do. There are plenty of people from Whiterocks here at Whiterocks Campground, and Whiterocks Campground is in the vicinity of Bridger Canyon which is beyond doubt worth checking out. Park while you're here at Whiterocks Campground, and going for a hike on the Shale Dugway is always a tremendous adventure. If you have a thing about the outdoors you'll have a thing about it here in the Uinta Mountains. The Dry Fork Trail is a good hiking trail close to Whiterocks
| Campground; Steinaker State Park is a good spot to stretch your legs a bit. There's no way to run out of fun stuff to do close to Whiterocks Campground; to be at this place is always fun. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Whiterocks Campground; the nighttime is fairly colder of course, typically in the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's, and night lows all through the winter for Whiterocks Campground tend to be in the 0's. of the months is February. This is such a fun site for a campground. If you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Yellowstone River, and there is a wonderful hiking trail nearby called the Icy Hill Dugway. This place, the Uinta
Mountains, has so much outdoors amusing things. Some of the water close by flows, like Paradise Creek. Uinta River is a great whitewater spot near Whiterocks Campground, and Little Elk Lake is a brilliant lake nearby. Whiterocks Campground is a nice camp ground to use as a base while enjoying the Uinta Mountains. Utah is a pleasant spot for campers.
