Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Whiterocks Campground; the nighttime is fairly colder of course, typically in the 50's. If you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Yellowstone River, and there is a wonderful hiking trail nearby called the Icy Hill Dugway. Uinta River is a great whitewater spot near Whiterocks Campground, and Little Elk Lake is a brilliant lake nearby. Whiterocks Campground is a nice camp ground to use as a base while enjoying the Uinta Mountains. Utah is a pleasant spot for campers.
