Summit Campground, Wasatch Range, Utah

  As if Summit Campground wasn't enough, you can also go whitewater paddling, fishing, swimming, and hiking, so there's no way to get bored. Outdoors folks generally fancy this part of Utah. This campground has so much amusing stuff to offer. Float down the rapids of Big Cottonwood Creek in a kayak, and needless to say, everyone loves Wasatch Mountain State Park. Paddling on Provo River is so much fun, and you'll perhaps meet some people from American Fork here.
When was the last time you went camping for a couple of days? Summit Campground in Utah is
    the outdoors at its greatest. For the duration of the long summer days at Summit Campground highs are typically in the 90's while night lows are typically in the 60's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are commonly in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here
at Summit Campground.
Summit Campground is situated in a vicinity with loads of enjoyable things to do; campgrounds like these are nice. These mountains rock, just look at all the cool stuff to do in the Wasatch Range. What would winter be without some skiing at Sundance, and don't miss out on a journey to Timpanogos Cave National Monument while you're here.

Range. Taking a little tour to close by Elk Point is a delightful idea, and Deer Creek State Park is a great site to go. This campground is so wonderful. There is a splendid hiking trail next to Summit Campground called the Lake Desolation Trail, and do set aside some time for Pine Flat while you're here at Summit Campground. Summit Campground is a very well loved campground by folks of American Fork.
Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting stuff close to Summit Campground. Do stop by Dry Lake in close proximity to Summit Campground, it's a scenic lake, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Mount Timpanogos Trail. What a spot this is for outdoors folks.
On a wonderful day at Summit Campground you can take a hike along the Indian Trail, and if time allows, California National Historic Trail is a national park worth checking out. Summit Campground is one of the places to camp here in the Wasatch Range. Summit Campground is typically a relatively dried up place; the month of April is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest month of the year is July.
Get yourself into a kayak and hit East Canyon Creek, and going for a hike on the The Sheep Trail is always a great adventure.
