Sulphur Campground is one of the places to camp here in the Wasatch Range. All the outdoors enjoyable stuff in the Wasatch Range will keep you coming back repeatedly. Sulphur Campground is not far at all from Mapleton, and there are some good whitewater spots on Provo
River. Uinta National Forest is a nice place to have a look at, and the Browns Peak Trail offers hiking at its best.
But wait, there's more to do in the vicinity of Sulphur Campground. If you come at the right time of year, Provo River offers some splendid whitewater, and a
journey to Timpanogos Cave National Monument is recommended. Yeah, come up here to the Wasatch Range for a pleasant time. Playing golf is lots of fun at Springville-Hobble Creek Golf Course, and there's good hiking along the Indian Trail. Sulphur Campground is commonly a relatively dehydrated place; the month with most of the rain is April, and July is the month with the least moisture.
